More Songs I Can't Stop Listening To- November 2021

November has been an amazing month from new music that I had to do more than one post for songs that I've had in constant rotation! Here's a few more recent drops that I can't stop with:

"Tides"- Bonobo featuring Jamila Woods

British producer Bonobo further proves his versatility with his new collaboration with soul singer, Jamila Woods. The song is a downtempo single from Bonobo's upcoming album, Fragments, due out next year. Woods' voice and eerie lyrics are perfect on this simplistic song that feels right at home as fall turns to winter.

"Heavy"- Flight Facilities featuring Your Smith

Last Friday was a big deal for Flight Facilities fans like myself because it brought on the release of their sophomore album, Forever, seven years after the release of their incredible debut, Down to Earth. Forever is in familiar territory with it's electro-disco sounds and light vocals that lay over it. "Heavy" fits right in and I'm so glad they're finally back with a new album.

"After Last Night"- Silk Sonic

Last Friday was also a big deal just for music in general because An Evening with Silk Sonic finally dropped and lived up to the hype in every way possible (Check my review). This song, however, is so good it should be illegal, but that's obvious when you get the combination of Bruno Mars, Anderson Paak, and Thundercat, right? I literally got cooler listening to this song.

"Superstar"- Beach House

Baltimore dream pop band, Beach House, has finally returned with their first set of songs from their upcoming album, Once Twice Melody. "Superstar" plays like the standout track, "Dark Spring" from their last album, 7. It's faster than the likes of "Space Song," but still has that melancholy haze we come to expect from the duo. Victoria Legrand's voice is a kin to that of Jefferson Airplane's Grace Slick. If you like psychedelic music, this one's for you.

"Take It Off"- Keys N Krates featuring Bibi Bourelly

Keys N Krates dropped their new album, Original Classic, which features a bunch of electronic bangers that don't disappoint. I had written about the title track in a previous post, but this one might be even more catchy. This one is definitely more on the pop side, but it makes it that much more infectious.
